Are you passionate about fostering a culture of data literacy? Do you thrive on building communities and love bringing people together over the shared goal of leveraging data for impactful insights? If so, we invite you to apply for the Data Community Manager position within the company's AI, Analytics & Data tech center. You'll play a pivotal role in fostering a data analytics community and developing onboarding and training programs, in partnership with many teams, for both technical and non-technical audiences. If you have excellent communication skills, are interested in creating impactful upskilling programs and have some background in analytics or building communities, we'd love to hear from you!


Training and Upskilling Program Development


- Work cross-functionally with our platform teams, data governance teams, business partners, vendors and subject matter experts to develop onboarding material 

- Design training programs and material, in partnership with subject matter experts, that onboard our data analyst community to our next gen platform and continually update as needed

- Host decision making forums with relevant stakeholders to establish ways of working and communicate these decisions to the appropriate communities  

- Drive initiatives that advance our journey towards being a data-driven organisation, including educational programs, workshops, and internal events

Data Community Building

- Create and nurture a strong data analytics community within the organization, fostering a culture of sharing and learning 

- Identify and build strong working relationships with subject matter experts to obtain input for demos, case studies, trainings and community events

- Facilitate knowledge sharing, best practices, and collaboration among data enthusiasts, analysts, and stakeholders 

- Plan and execute community activities, such as hackathons, workshops, webinars, and meetups to foster a culture of data-driven insights

Data Literacy Advocacy

- Advocate for data literacy across the organization

- Create effective content, both written and visual, across a variety of channels (newsletters, internal comms sites, PowerPoint presentations, videos, infographics) to drive awareness and engagement with the community

Performance Metrics

- Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) related to community engagement and training effectiveness

- Regularly report on progress and recommend improvements

Qualifications
- A Bachelor or master's degree in a related role
- 5+ years of experience in a community or program management role or data-related role with a focus on data
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to create relevant content for both technical and non-technical audiences 
- Detail oriented while maintaining the larger strategic context
- Able to work cross functionality and recognize relevant stakeholders to bring together to have meaningful conversations to drive decisions
- Experience in planning and executing successful community events, both online and offline
- Strong understanding of technology trends, ideally data
- Data-driven with the ability to analyze and draw insights from both quantitative and qualitative metrics
- Highly organized with strong project management skills


Additional bonus points if you have:
- Experience building and/ driving AI and data communities
- Background in data analytics or AI with knowledge of data analysis tools, such as Python, R, SQL and Google Cloud Platform
